Fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg (Institute for Advanced Study) in Berlin (2014/15). Director of the Konrad Lorenz Institute for Evolution and Cognition Research (KLI) in Klosterneuburg near Vienna (from 2015 to 2017). Visiting scientist, Center for Systems Biology Dresden (2017/18). Short-term fellow at the CRI (Oct 2018 – Mar 2019). D'Alembert Research Chair 2020/21 at the Institut d'Études Avancées (IEA) Paris. Recurrent guest lecturer at the University of Vienna. Currently associated with the Complexity Science Hub (CSH) Vienna.
