It has been 10 years since I have been immersed into the scientific world.
Inês's Bio

At the University of Minho in Portugal, I graduated with a Bachelor's in Applied Biology and a Master in Health Sciences. Afterwards, I obtained a PhD in Molecular Biomedicine at the University of Trieste in Italy, financed by Horizon Europe - Marie Curie Actions (MSCA). Following my PhD, I worked as a scientific researcher for the University of Trieste, focusing in scientific communication. Afterwards, in Paris I worked for a scientific IT company. My services include consulting on projects, training, and developing educational content for scientists.

At Learning Planet Institute I am the Project Manager for EURIP, overseeing the graduate school’s Master’s and PhD programs. My role includes promoting individuals, networks, and projects, as well as organizing and developing educational activities. Additionally, I manage EURIP’s financial and administrative operations.

I always try to embrace two of my passions: creativity and science. I write engaging articles for Labbook Online, breaking down scientific topics for everyone to enjoy. When I’m not diving into the world of science, you’ll find me getting creative with ceramics or crochet.

After years of yoga, I felt it was time for something new, so this year I’ve jumped into dance and badminton classes. I love breaking out of routines and going on adventures—especially camping trips. I’m already planning my next getaway or weekend escape!

And of course, sharing food and laughs around a table is one of my favorite things. If you’d like to chat, I’d love to connect!
