I am a PhD Student within the Microbial Paleogenomics Unit at the Institute Pasteur, Paris. My interest is to study human populations of the past and their adaptation to different lifestyles, environments and pathogens to understand the impact on their immune response and the effects of the genetic variation. Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford. Here, I explored different types of NGS technologies and their application on cancer genomics, transcriptomics and epigenetics. I have a Master in Biodiversity and Evolution from the University of Bologna.
