Manon Curaudeau
Fire PhD student
manon.curaudeau@learningplanetinstitute.org
I am a first year PhD student in the FIRE doctoral program. I am working at the Institut Pasteur and the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (MNHN) on the reservoir(s) of Monkeypox, an emerging viral disease. Originally found in monkeys in 1958, hence the name, it affects humans since 1970. However, the animal reservoir is unkown, and this is what I am looking for in my PhD, using Phylogenomics, Ecology, and Virology methods.
