durcia's Bio

I am MASSOUKOU Durcia. Born in Africa, in Pointe-Noire, Congo, I lived there during my first six years.

After obtaining a Scientific Baccalaureate with honors, I completed two full years of PACES to practice neurology. Then I went on to a second year of Biology in Life Science, in order to be a researcher in Neurosciences.

After validation of my bachelor degree in Biology with Honors, I was admitted to the Master 1 and Master 2 International Neurosciences Paris Descartes for the 2020-2022 academic year, that I validated with honors. Now, I have been admitted to the “Frontiers of Innovation in Research and Education” (FIRE) PhD program based on favorable reviews from the International Scientific Committee (ISC) of FIRE and my funding from Idex. I'm investigating the Molecular mechanisms of transient life span in the cerebral cortex: to understand how damaged birth determines developmental death.

Besides that, I do business training, talks for the general public, and for two years, with my partner, I have undertaken a project to create a SAS company: a platform for exchanging knowledge and skills live and online. I will soon talk about it in full because the platform is coming out at the end of the year!
