Bassam Hajj
FIRE PhD teacher
bassam.hajj@cri-paris.org
I'm CNRS researcher at Institut Curie. I develop novel optical microscopy tools for fast and sensitive single-molecule microscopy in order to perform 3D super-resolution imaging. In my team we also develop dedicated software for image analysis (reconstruction and localization) and data visualization ( virtual reality).
Bassam's Bio

Following my thesis at ENS Cachan, I spent few years at Janelia research center as a post-doc. Later I joined Institut Curie where I obtained a permanent CNRS position. I'm leading a small research team working in the single-molecule field, and I'm involved in several teaching activities.

Within CRI I'm giving course on optical microscopy and image analysis for PhD students.
