Hello! My name is Arve and I'm a Doctoral student at the Microbial Paleogenomics Unit at Pasteur Institute. Having grown up in Spain, I have moved around a lot throughout my life. I conducted my undergraduate studies in the UK in Ecology and Wildlife Conservation, and two master's degrees in Evolutionary Biology at LMU and Uppsala University. I'm largely interested in Phylogenomics, Paleogenomis and Parasitology/Host-Parasite interactions.

I love any sports and have competed in football, basketball, and most recently rowing for 3 years, however, currently, I mainly partake in gym sessions and hiking trips (if I find the time), but am always looking for more adventures! Having travelled very extensively in my life, I love being part of an intercultural community, and therefore being able to share and enjoy everybody's culture (especially foodwise).
